Accounts Specialist



Emeryville based employer association established in 1937 seeks a conscientious and motivated person to fill an opening in its pension trust accounting department.

This position interacts with client employers to make sure payments to pensions are paid on time and are correctly credited and applied.

Essential Functions/job requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Bank and account reconciliation experience

  • Draft/compose/edit correspondence

  • Eligibility Processing

  • Familiarity with general A/P and A/R duties

  • Ability to learn and use business applications

  • Communicate with employers regarding eligibility, invoices, and payments

The ideal candidate will also have the following attributes:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel

  • Familiarity with Bravo or QuickBooks software

  • 3+ years’ experience in a professional office environment

  • Detail minded and thorough

  • Someone seeking a career position
